About: Danish Breed Horses
Danish Warmblood horses weren’t established as a breed until 1962, making them the youngest of the European warmbloods. Two Danish saddle horse associations converged into the Dansk Varmblood in the home country of Denmark, with the goal of creating the perfect all-around Sporthorse. This amazing breed has an open studbook due to their recent establishment, but the association is extremely picky about which stallions they let into the blood line. Breeding of this line has shifted from all-around Sporthorse to creating the best show jumpers and dressage horses.
